Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/17/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• Every other weekend schedule with holidays as needed /n• Float required - all travelers subject to float between ALL Cone Health facilities /n• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first time travelers accepted) /n• Patient ratio experience required at 1:5-6 /n• Required certifications: BLS, NIH /n• EPIC experience required /n• Telemetry remote monitoring experience required, on-unit monitoring preferred /n• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (Pass/Fail requirement with 2 attempts allowed) /n• Skills required: feeding tube care and management, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs /n• Additional skills: CVA care, nasal cannula, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac /n• Care for inpatient department with variety of patients with multiple co-morbidities /n• Specialized care for stroke (neuro) patient population /n• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences /n• Compliance deadline: 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date /n• Non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours completed during orientation /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing specialized inpatient services with a focus on medical surgical telemetry care.
