Job Description:

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Significant culinary experience.
  • Experience creating menus which reflect seasonal availability and the local market and menu costing experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership success in high volume food service with several direct reports.
  • Significant supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Outstanding communication skills, delegation, and abilities to have a vison for the culinary team.
  • Experience managing large food inventories including purchasing, receiving, storing of dated product.
  • Ability to prepare effective work schedules for busy kitchen operations with multiple employees.
  • Food safety certified or equivalent.

Physical Requirements - Lifting up to 40 lbs., reaching, bending, standing for long periods, walking, stooping, climbing.

Employment Conditions - Schedule will vary depending on work load and business need including nights, weekends, holidays and HOKIE game days. Must have a criminal background check.
