More about our team WCCH ER is a 14 bed ED with a Fast Track area to accommodate up to 8 patients. We are Certified as a Stroke Ready Facility with The Joint Commission. The ED nurse patient ratio is 1:4. The ED is staffed with Nurse Techs, Monitor Techs, and RNs. We believe in a work life balance with our employees while providing our community the care they need. How you'll contribute A Manager who excels in this role: Oversee the activities of the ED and assigned staff during scheduled shifts Provide patient care. Enhance department workflow. Provide leadership at the point of care. Ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to patient and family needs. Professional Development: Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license or compact licensure. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification is required at hire. ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. Three to five years' experience as a staff nurse within ER department. CEN preferred Handle with care within one year of date of hire. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Knowledge of MedHost electronic health records strongly preferred.
