support staff. The facility operates with established protocols
during regular business hours and maintains appropriate equipment
and systems to deliver quality primary care services to patients
requiring both routine and complex medical interventions. About the
Facility Location Virginia offers diverse regional attractions and
various recreational opportunities throughout the state. The area
provides extensive outdoor recreation opportunities ranging from
water activities to land-based pursuits such as hiking, biking, and
year-round activities. The region serves as a gateway to parks,
museums, and local attractions throughout Virginia. About the
Clinician's Workday The physician will deliver comprehensive family
medicine care to adult patients in a correctional facility
environment, managing diverse primary care cases during standard
business hours. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough
patient evaluations, managing chronic medical conditions, providing
preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses while
maintaining accurate medical records. The clinician will see
approximately 18-20 patients daily with no call requirements,
working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,
collaborating with registered nurses and licensed practical nurses
to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes within
the specialized correctional healthcare delivery framework.
