Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Roanoke, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,831 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24014! Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cardiac cath lab procedures License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Scrub experience in cardiac cath lab procedures - Proficiency in Epic charting system - Experience in diagnostic and interventional cath lab settings using fluoroscopy - Ability to return to the hospital within 30 minutes when called Description: Position involves working as a Cath Lab RN with scrub experience. Shift hours are 4x10s from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, plus call. Each clinician is expected to take 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts within a 6-week period. One full weekend of call must be scheduled together, while remaining weekday call shifts can be taken individually. One Saturday shift for elective cases is also required during each 6-week period. The role includes caring for adult patients in a cath lab setting. Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, valve disorders, and heart failure. Advanced procedures performed include TAVR, left atrial appendage closures, and mitral clips. Responsible for scrubbing and circulating during interventional and structural heart procedures. Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, and PTCA. Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation is necessary. Knowledge of isolation precautions and equipment handling is required. Travelers must adhere to compliance requirements and call-off policies.
