Job Description Opportunity Overview Seeking an Interventional Cardiologist physician to join our dynamic medical team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. Job Details Join a well-established and respected Cardiology practice of 16 providers that was established more than 50 years ago. This is an exclusive group (no competition) in a regional service area of nearly 300,000. Relish the opportunity to live and practice in a beautiful area of the country with all 4 seasons, low cost of living and crime, affordable housing, and excellent schools. Practice is located within 3 hours of Columbus, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Cincinnati and 5 hours from DC and Charlotte. There is a regional airport with daily connections to Charlotte. The hospital is WVU Medicine – Camden Clark Medical Center. It has 3 cath labs with open heart surgical program. The initial offer is for employment with a base salary and productivity bonus. Sign-on bonus and relocation package. Stipend if still in training. Personal nurse, afternoon off each week, long term disability, life and health insurance, retirement plan contributions are maxed out annually, life and disability insurance provided, paid time off for vacation, sick leave and CME and malpractice coverage are some of the benefit highlights. We do consider J1 waiver candidates. Qualifications MD or DO degree Will need to obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire BE/BC in Interventional Cardiology Completed an ACGME-accredited residency Financials and Benefits Generous compensation package to include base comp and potential productivity bonus Sign-on bonus CME allowance Comprehensive benefits package, including retirement Stipends available during training for early commitment
