Registered Nurse (RN) - ED Schedule: Varied, with rotating

Wythe County Community Hospital (WCCH) ER is a 14 bed ER with a
Fast Track area to accommodate up to 8 patients. We are Certified
as a Stroke Ready Facility with The Joint Commission. The ER nurse
patient ration is 1:4. The ER is staffed with Nurse Techs, Monitor
Techs, and RNs. We believe in a work life balance with our

Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Accurately performs
patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and
initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care
appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and
appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the
medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the
Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and

looking for: Applicants must have a current VA or compact RN
license. Additional requirements include: At least one year of
previous experience in ER as a RN strongly preferred. Basic Life
Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and
PALS within 90 days of hire. Handle with Care within one year of
