Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead our respiratory team, providing top-notch care and therapy across our health facilities. This position will oversee all respiratory care services, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for patient care, aiming to enhance our respiratory services in line with Encompass Health's mission of providing high-quality, integrated healthcare. Supervise and lead a team of respiratory therapists. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Develop and implement respiratory care plans and protocols. Conduct performance evaluations and provide staff training and development. Manage departmental staffing, including scheduling and budget considerations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies. Participate in clinical rounds and consultations. Strong leadership and organizational skills. In-depth knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to train, motivate, and provide constructive feedback. Proficient in using medical software and respiratory care equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid and active Respiratory Therapist license. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. BLS/ACLS certification.
