Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,930 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MedSurg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or Compact license required upon start Certifications: BCLS, ACLS preferred, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Traveler Experience required: No first-time travelers Required Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Central Line Care/Management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Non-Invasive Airway Management, and Isolation Precautions Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancelation. Telemetry will be monitored on a separate unit by a tech. The nurse must be able to correctly treat dysrhythmias. The unit has a ratio of 1:6-7 with CNAs to help support. The goal of the unit is to restore physiological stability, prevent complications, and achieve optimal responses resulting in quality patient care. Weekend work is required every other week. Candidates must be comfortable floating based on the job description with no restrictions or special requests. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No RTO is allowed during the first week of a traveler's assignment due to training. References from managers or supervisors within the past 12 months are highly preferred. Fatigue policy: Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours in a week. Completion of modules prior to the start is required.
