Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Salem, VA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,486 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Virginia Start Date: December 29, 2025 Location: Salem, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Flexible scheduling with 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available. Call requirement of one night per week and one half-weekend every 8 weeks (weekends are 48 hours, half-weekends are 24 hours). Highlights: 11 Operating Room suites offering diverse surgical specialties including ortho trauma, craniotomies, robotic procedures, ENT, and total joints Level II or higher trauma center environment with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci robots, Hanah tables, Jackson tables, and specialized surgical equipment 1:1 patient ratio ensuring focused, high-quality perioperative care Documentation via Meditech EMR system Varied case mix including cystoscopy, lumbar laminectomy, robotic general and GYN procedures, breast surgeries, and ENT cases Supportive team environment with experienced staff and comprehensive unit resources Requirements: Active RN license in Virginia or compact state licensure Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required Experience in a Level II or higher trauma center strongly preferred Proficiency in orthopedic trauma, craniotomies, burr holes, robotic general surgery (appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy), cystoscopy, ENT procedures, and total joint replacements Advanced skills in DaVinci robotic systems, ortho trauma, and cranial procedures highly desired Current BLS certification required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced surgical environment with exposure to a wide variety of complex procedures and cutting-edge technology.
