medical care to the community. The facility offers a collaborative
working environment with supportive staff including center
managers, medical assistants, and patient service associates.
Opportunity: Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Urgent Care,
Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Job Details: • Function as the sole provider in the urgent care
center, treating approximately 20 patients per shift (up to 40 PPD
depending on site) • Treat both adult and pediatric patients (6
months and older) • Perform minor procedures including I&D,
laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required - must be able to use
EMR for all visits • Strong interpersonal skills essential as
provider will work one-on-one with support staff and patients •
Minimum 12 months of urgent care experience required (new graduates
not considered) • Must have board certification (NCCPA for PAs, NP
Boards for NPs) and BLS certification • No call requirements •
Supervising physician provided for APPs (off-site) • Must complete
clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding prior to first
solo shift • Provider should be willing to support locations within
a 65-mile radius of home residence • Active North Carolina license
required • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 20 days
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and
malpractice included.
