working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in High
Point, North Carolina, 27262! Job Title: RN - CVICU Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of
1 year of ICU experience License: State Nursing License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Cardiac and
hemodynamic monitoring experience - Ability to interpret cardiac
strips and rhythms - Experience with arterial lines and titration
of drips - Knowledge of ventilator care and vascular lines -
Experience with chest tubes or drains Description: Community-based
hospital located in an urban area. The facility has 304 licensed
beds. It is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and designated as a
Primary Stroke Center. The unit has 8 beds with an average daily
census of 7. Patient types include general medical patients and
cardiac surgical patients. Patients may require continuous
monitoring of cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurologic
status. Common diagnoses include myocardial infarction, respiratory
failure, and renal failure. The RN to patient ratio in the ICU is
typically 1:2, with special high acuity cases requiring 1:1 care.
Overflow patients waiting for stepdown units may have a ratio of
1:3 or 1:4. Support staff include CNAs and Nurse Techs. The use of
telemetry monitoring is crucial for continuous cardiac monitoring.
This position involves advanced cardiac support and immediate
post-operative care. The facility offers a positive team-focused

and intensivists is part of the role. Technology used includes
