health setting, supporting patients across adult, geriatric, and
pediatric populations. This contract position offers an opportunity

Location: Situated in Amherst, MA, this facility is part of a
comprehensive behavioral health hospital offering specialized
services for a variety of patient groups, including children,

growth and quality of life. Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care
to patients with behavioral health diagnoses such as schizophrenia,
depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and anxiety.
Manage patient ratios averaging 1:8, with adjustments for pediatric
and geriatric patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
implement individualized treatment plans. Utilize electronic health
records (Cerner) to document patient care accurately. Float between
units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Participate in day shift work from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with every
other weekend scheduled on. Adhere to facility dress code with blue
scrubs and maintain professional standards. Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher. Active RN license with
at least 1 year of experience. BLS certification required.
Experience or willingness to work in behavioral health nursing,
including care for adults and pediatric patients. Ability to work
without call responsibilities and maintain a positive,
collaborative mindset. Schedule: Days: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM Every other
weekend required 36 guaranteed hours per week This contract role
