Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Neuro Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,858 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Med/Surg Neuro Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend required Highlights: Primary neuroscience unit specializing in stroke care, seizure disorders, subdural hematomas, and other neurological diagnoses 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio with a daily census of approximately 50 patients Epic charting system with full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams 13-week contract with 36 hours of orientation to ensure clinical success Opportunity to work with advanced neurological conditions including epilepsy monitoring, traumatic brain injuries, and cerebrovascular accidents Floating required to other Med/Surg and Telemetry areas based on unit needs Requirements: Minimum 2 years of total nursing experience with at least 1 year of direct Med/Surg experience required At least 2 successfully completed travel contracts; first-time travelers will not be accepted Current North Carolina or Compact state RN license BLS, NIH, and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS strongly preferred Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Experience with neurological patient populations strongly preferred Epic charting system experience required Must be comfortable with floating to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to develop specialized skills in neuroscience nursing while caring for a diverse patient population with complex neurological conditions.
