The role involves providing direct patient care in an emergency
room setting. Registered nurses will be responsible for managing
and treating patients with diverse medical conditions. The nurse
will participate in patient assessments and develop appropriate
care plans. Effective communication and coordination with
interdisciplinary team members are essential. Maintaining a
patient-centered approach to care is critical. This position
requires the ability to handle high-stress situations and make
quick clinical decisions. Travelers must ensure compliance with all
facility protocols, including clocking in and out for accurate
payment. Required vaccinations, including flu vaccine during the
designated flu season, must be up to date. The nurse will need to
demonstrate skills and experience in various emergency
interventions and patient management. Candidates must include their
permanent home address and social security number during the
application process. Previously employed individuals will not be
eligible for rehire within a specified timeframe. This position
requires the ability to work weekends and additional shifts as
needed. All qualifications and certifications must be valid and
current at the time of application. Providing a safe environment
for patients is a priority in this role. The position involves
critical thinking and the application of nursing knowledge to
improve patient outcomes. Travelers will also be responsible for
adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the
emergency setting. The ability to multitask and prioritize care for
multiple patients simultaneously is crucial. Interdisciplinary
support will be available for various patient needs within the
emergency department. All required documentation must be submitted
in full prior to the start of the assignment.
