Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: PCU RN position
available. The facility will determine the specific unit to be
assigned after the traveler passes clinical. The assignment is for
13 weeks, with three 12-hour days from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Start
date is flexible within the specified range. Local candidates are
limited to a one-time 13-week assignment and will not be eligible
to extend. Only start dates through the end of September will be
considered. Travelers are considered local if they live within a
certain radius from the facility. Local rate may differ from
non-local rates. Currently, the patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5, with
a goal of achieving 1:4. All travelers are expected to float as
needed based on patient acuity. Travelers are required to work at
least one holiday during the assignment, with specific exceptions
for winter holidays. Compliance documents are due by the specified
deadline prior to the start of the assignment. Previous employees
must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning to work as
a traveler. The facility does not allow travelers to return after
working on assignment for a full year. Modules may be completed
during orientation, and hours may vary based on specialty.
Orientation hours are non-billable and must be completed as
scheduled.
