Pay Information $1,930 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers accepted License: North Carolina or Compact License required at the time of start Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS and NIH preferred Must-Have: - Ability to interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias Description: The position involves working on a 41-bed inpatient unit with telemetry capability. The primary focus is on renal and limb preservation patients. Patients may include those with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), acute renal failure (ARF), vascular procedures, congestive heart failure (CHF), and diabetic conditions. The interdisciplinary team includes RNs, nurse assistants, a receptionist, dietary staff, physical and occupational therapy, and pharmacy personnel. This team collaborates daily to ensure the best care is provided for patients. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Weekend work is required every other week. The nursing ratio is typically 1 nurse for every 5 to 6 patients. Candidates must have effective communication skills to perform in a complex care environment.
