TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina,

Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and
Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours
(18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience
License: NC or Compact license required Certifications: BCLS,
AWHONN Intermediate, NRP Must-Have: - EPIC experience - IV start
and circulate experience - Ability to recover C-sections -
Experience with labor inductions, IUFDs, and multiple drips
(Pitocin, magnesium, insulin) - Experience with preterm and
multiple gestations, preeclampsia, and postpartum hemorrhages
Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked
out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could
possibly result in a cancel and DNR. The unit will accept contracts
for 13 weeks. Every other weekend is required. Travelers will float
within Women's Services. Patient diagnoses include 14 weeks and
above pregnant in triage, and 20 weeks and above in labor and
delivery. Offer resuscitation for patients 22 weeks and above.
Labor and delivery occur in the same suite, with 3 OR rooms and
recovery. Special procedures involve labor inductions, IUFDs, and
multiple drips. Special equipment includes epidural pumps, PCAs,
Alaris pumps, and fluid warmers. Unit systems include PYXIS and
EPIC. Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than
60 hours in a week. Fatigue and module policies apply. RTO must not
fall on a holiday, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of
the assignment. Travel pairs are allowed but must work on different
units. References are preferred at the time of submission.
