Job Description Job Description EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is seeking a Soldering Trainee / Solderer to join our team at our Danville, VA facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is curious about electronics, and wants to learn a valuable, in-demand technical skill. No prior soldering experience is required—we will train the right person. EIT is a Contract Manufacturer providing Electronic Manufacturing Services to customers in Industrial, Communications, Aerospace, Defense, and Healthcare markets. What You’ll Learn & Do As part of our manufacturing team, you will be trained to assemble and solder electronic products used in real-world, high-reliability applications. With guidance and hands-on training, you will: Learn SMT, thru-hole, and electromechanical assembly and soldering Assemble prototype, pilot, and small-run production builds Read and follow drawings, work instructions, and sample assemblies Support engineering with product start-ups and improvements Assist with rework, inspection, and mechanical assembly as needed Build electro-mechanical units using written and verbal instructions What We’re Looking For We’re less focused on what you’ve done and more focused on what you’re excited to learn.
