Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master’s degree in Special
Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field,
active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1 years Educational
Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This full-time opportunity
seeks a licensed Educational Diagnostician to support students in
grades K-12 within a school setting. Providing comprehensive
assessments and evaluations, you will play a critical role in
identifying students educational strengths and needs, guiding
individualized learning plans and interventions. Location:
Covington, LA Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week 7 hours per
day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break Monday through Friday,
aligned with the school calendar Key Responsibilities: Conduct
psychological and educational assessments for students in grades
K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 Interpret evaluation results and collaborate
with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress
and recommend modifications to support academic success Maintain
accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal
regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
provide expert guidance on special education eligibility and
placement Qualifications: Valid license as an Educational
Diagnostician Experience working with diverse student populations
across elementary, middle, and high school levels Strong knowledge
of assessment tools, special education laws, and intervention
strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability
to work within a structured school calendar and meet deadlines This
