Job Description:

This position is primarily based in the New River Valley (NRV).Lead a clinical education team that provides staff quality education programs, professional development opportunities, and at-the-elbow support.1. Oversee the Development of Educational Programs: Design and develop educational materials tailored to diverse audiences, including brochures, presentations, and online content. Create and implement training and professional development programs for healthcare professionals.2. Assess Educational Needs: Assess the educational needs of different populations through surveys, focus groups, and other assessment tools. Customize educational programs based on the specific needs and preferences of the target audience.3. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Assess and incorporate continuing education requirements and healthcare regulations. Keep up-to-date with evidence-based practice to drive education programs.4. Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with key stakeholders to identify educational needs and develop relevant content. Provide support and resources to the education team to enhance their teaching and communication skills. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Provide mentoring and coaching to support staff development and advancement.5. Monitor and Evaluate Program Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes. Prepare reports and documentation on program performance and impact.6. Stay Current with Healthcare Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in healthcare, medical research, and educational techniques. Integrate new information and best practices into educational programs.What We Require:Education: BSN required; Masters in nursing preferredExperience: Minimum of 3 years clinical experience at a Magnet Designated facility Experience with Magnet designation processes a plus. Prior successful Magnet experience preferred.Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Current RN license in the state of Virginia required. Certification from specialty nursing organization preferred.Other Minimum Qualifications:Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet computer software and data analysis, and PowerPoint.Ability to manage spreadsheets and large data sets.Exceptional written, editing, and oral communication skills.
