Description: Position Summary Lynchburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
(LCDJR) is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to
join our Fixed Operations team. This position is responsible for
inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of
vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal
candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to
detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

Key Responsibilities * Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle
issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and software * Perform
routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake
servicing, and inspections * Repair and service engines,
transmissions, fuel systems, suspension, steering, and HVAC systems
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as wiring,
batteries, alternators, and sensors * Follow manufacturer
specifications, service manuals, and technical service bulletins *
Ensure all repairs comply with safety policies and environmental
regulations * Accurately document repairs and recommendations *
Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members *
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent required *
Formal training or experience in Automotive Technology preferred *
State Inspection License required * Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
experience is a plus * Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical
aptitude * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Technical Skills & Knowledge * Diagnostics & troubleshooting *
Engine repair and maintenance * Electrical system diagnostics and
repair * Brake, suspension, and steering systems * Manual and
automatic transmission service * HVAC system repair * Proficient
use of scan tools, OBD systems, and multimeter Certificates,
Licenses, Registrations * Valid Driver's License * State Inspection
